Robotics is transforming modern medicine and opening new dimensions in diagnostics, therapy, and care. Surgical robots allow for more precise procedures with fewer complications and faster recovery. At the same time, assistive systems support healthcare professionals by automating routine tasks. The presentation will highlight current applications as well as future developments. In addition, ethical and organizational challenges of medical robotics will be discussed.
